A brief but potent window is an art book that I self-published about the feeling of watching a lot of sunsets all in a row -- each one abstracted and distilled into a single dynamic image. It stems from a desire to create book that could act as a refuge - or at least a distraction from existential ennui. 





Early digital sketches that became sunsets. 


ABBPW  is the culmination of my Art Book Certificate at the Independent Publishing Resource Center. It is a spiral bound art book of 37 abstract risograph sunsets.




Each sunset is a three color risograph, hand trimmed and hand-bound by me.

ABBPW was printed and produced between February 2020 and August 2022 in an edition of 20. ︎

It was featured in Sounds About Riso 4.0 alongside other risograph artworks at UsagiNY in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
Rien Rosenheim is a multidisciplinary creative, with a keen eye for detail. As a lifelong learner, they have a diverse background, with skills in printmaking, publication design, photography, digital design, and illustration.
