Bambini Typeface

LETTERFORM & TYPEFACE DESIGN




In the fall of 2020, I took Principles of Typeface Design through Cooper Union with Troy Leinster, and developed my first typeface: Bambini. 

Initial sketch thru digitization process of test word. 

Bambini is the great great great grand-child of Bodoni. It is a rounded edge expansion typeface. Best set at larger sizes, it works great for playful display type or other large size applications, such as in childrens books.

Lower-case character set.
